Museums

In the city of Joy are present the store houses of Indian arts, culture, archaeology, anthropology and more. These store houses stand as famous museums in the city. The museums of Kolkata city are known all over the state for their collection and genealogy. The landmark of the city is the Indian Museum, which is the oldest existing museum of India and ninth in rank for the world. This ancestral museum has as many as 66 galleries with rich collections.
