Getaways from Kolkata city comprise of some inviting places,
not far from the city precincts. Kolkata city is surrounded by some
of the best tourist places in the eastern India. Starting from the
north and only 39 kms away is the place called Chandannagar. The
place, occupied by the French till 1951, contains many structures
established during the French occupation. Nabadwip, that lies
